The task

A small home-service crew lives between the customer's first call and the paid invoice. Requests arrive by phone, by email, from a home-services marketplace; the estimate gets priced from memory in the evening; site photos stay buried in someone's camera roll; and the dispatcher learns how the day is going by calling to ask whether the tech has arrived. One visit ends up scattered across a messenger thread, a notebook and the bookkeeping, so invoices go out late and priced by guesswork.

Solution

Two surfaces on one backend: a web console that acts as the system of record and admin surface, and a mobile app built for the work that actually happens on site. A job moves through its full field cycle — en route, arrived, started, on hold, completed — and every transition is stamped with time and location. Estimates are assembled from what the technician captured: photos, short video and a spoken walkthrough are transcribed, matched against the company's pricing rules, and turned into line items a person reviews before anything reaches the customer. From there an estimate becomes a job, a job becomes an invoice, and the customer opens it on a public page and pays by card.

Outcome

The crew works from the phone: job status, photos, notes and estimates leave the site with the technician instead of being re-typed at the office that night. The dispatcher sees on a map who is where and at what stage, and the visit history, messages and payments stay attached to the customer record. The product is being taken to release together with a partner on the US market.
