Senior Backend Engineer
Design and development of the operations platform's server side: domain model, API, integrations, and performance under load.
Responsibilities
- Design the domain model and service boundaries together with the product team
- Develop the API used by the web application and external integrations
- Own the performance and reliability of your parts of the system
- Take part in code review and architectural decision-making
What we expect
- At least 5 years of professional backend development experience
- Strong command of Python and relational databases
- Experience designing APIs and working with message queues
- Ability to state and justify technical decisions in writing
